How did The 80s Cruise earn the title of “The Ultimate 80s Party?” It takes a killer lineup of iconic 80s bands, but our rock star guests take the party to the max at the totally tubular Theme Nights. Each night’s theme sets the stage, but our guests knock it out of the park with show-stopping costumes that turn heads and turn back the clocks. It may take you some time to plan, but memories of these Theme Night parties will live on forever!
Back to the 80s Night • Day 1 • 2/29
We’re headed back in time to the greatest decade ever as we set the time circuits to the 1980s! We’re going to celebrate all things 80s; whether you “valley girl” out with crimped hair and jelly bracelets, rock a classic New Wave look or keep it more relaxed with your favorite band T-shirt. The night will be full of music, dancing, karaoke, and surprises to get the Ultimate 80s Party started right.
Salute to Sci-Fi • Day 2 • 3/1
Get ready to blast off into a galaxy far, far away at Salute to Sci-Fi Night! This theme night celebrates the iconic science fiction movies and TV shows of the 80s with costumes and music that transport you to another dimension. Dress up as your favorite sci-fi characters from Flash Gordon, Battlestar Galactica, Tron, and beyond. From Stormtroopers to Spaceballs, you’ll fit right in. So grab your lightsaber or ray gun, and get ready to have a blast at the Salute to Sci-Fi Night!
Punks and Preps • Day 3 • 3/2
Whether you rock out with spiked hair and ripped jeans or don a pastel sweater and penny loafers, the night promises to be full of fun and laughs. You’ll have the chance to explore different bars on a Punks or Preps pub crawl and to show off your punk or preppy style on the dance floor. So grab some friends, plan your outfits, and get ready for a night of fun and adventure at the Punks and Preps Night!
Kickback and Glow • Day 4 • 3/3
Hot pink mesh shirts, flip-flops, Day-Glo shorts, and neon spandex are the perfect attire for this chill night. Everywhere you look, you’ll feel like you’re walking into a fluorescent dream. And as you hit the dance floor under the blacklights, your outfits, and accessories will glow to make you the center of attention. So break out your brightest and boldest outfits, and Let’s “Glow” Crazy!
John Hughes Prom • Day 5 • 3/4
Planes, Trains, and Cruise Ships? Get ready to dance the night away to the classic soundtracks from legendary John Hughes films. Dress up as your favorite characters like Ferris and Sloan, Samantha and Jake, or possibly the Griswolds, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Pop Icon Night • Day 6 • 3/5
We’ve seen everything from Madonna, Michael Jackson, and The Noid to group costumes such as the Smurfs, Cabbage Patch Kids, and countless more toys, cartoon characters, movie stars, and video game pop icons on the RADDEST costume night! Guests of The 80s Cruise take their costumes seriously, so let your imagination run wild! Whether you compete for a share of the $1,000 prize pool or just take in the awesome sights, this is a night you won’t want to miss!
